Head Chef Position

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Head Chef Position within Grill 48. Grill 48 is a family owned restaurant in the heart of Dunfermline established in 2011 it has made its mark on the local restaurant scene and now requires a new Head Chef to take the business forward.

Role:
This position would suit a Sous Chef who is seeking their first Head Chef position. This is a great opportunity for a talented chef to create contemporary dishes based on classic grill style dining but produced with modern twists, using the best local and seasonal produce. As Head Chef you will be leading a team of kitchen staff ensuring that service runs smoothly, push for 70% GP by fully controlling the kitchen costings as well as keeping all other kitchen admin up to date.

Requirements:
A Head Chef or very strong Sous Chef who is ambitious, and talented seeking a new role where they will be fully supported by the owner of the business. A strong knowledge of kitchen management and strong team leadership abilities are also necessary.

Part Time Waiting Staff

We are currently seeking part time staff at Grill 48. We are looking for keen enthusiastic team members to join TeamG48 to provide fantastic customer service.

  • Applicants should will have a good knowledge of food and drink
  • Good Customer Service Skills
  • have good knowledge of the Dunfermline Area
  • be over 18 as bar work will be required
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends
  • be trustworthy, keen and show initiative
